Happy Thanksgiving!

I will feast, feast, feast, feast (I may even eat the roast beast). Today isn't about the delicious food, or no school; Today is about being with friends and family.

I am so thankful for everyone in my life. Even thought some may not be physically with me, their presence on my heart is always here.  My family is dwindling in numbers but we are still strong and close.

Family is amazing. They are the people that will always stick by you and love you, even when your world is crashing down. I have received so much help, and support from my family that I'm not sure how I could ever repay them.

I am so lucky because I have been welcomed into my boyfriends family. They are very different from my family but that what makes it fun! I used to be so nervous around them but now I love going over there because they are so much fun (and loud).

There are a few people in my family that deserved a shout-out. First of all my Dad.

There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my dad. He left me to early, and I regret not telling him that I love him every second. He is gone but not forgotten. He made me into who I am, and taught me to stand up for myself, and be who I want to be.

OF COURSE, my Mom. There really aren't enough words to express how much I love my mom. She freakin' MADE me! Fast forward 20 years and she is always there for me. Always willing to give me some extra food, or a hug. Even read me a bed tome story (just last week).

And last but (certainly) not least, My Papa. He stepped up when my family was falling apart. He may give me a hard time but I really respect him for all that he does.

Join me on my Thankful Thursday journey. Every Thursday I will reflect on the previous week and choose something that makes my life wonderful. There is so much good in my life that one day of thanks is not enough. Hopefully through this I will get some clarity, and better understanding of just how beautiful life is.
